Outlandish food prices need adjustment

Outlandish food prices?

Ok I just noticed the price of food has sky rocketed! From being 8-20 there around to being now up to 52 per item of food because it has become unlimited?
I have to suggest that either the price of food comes down, or goes back to before where there is a limited quantity per rollover or that food has a higher amount of servings instead of just one.
As it stands now there is no way I can feed all my pets in my kennel and continue to feed them throughout the week. As I log on every day so there for my pets need food at least 2-4 times a day. Unless you goal is to not have people on everyday for long periods of time.
I have 217 Dog slots in my kennel which feeding them the min chicken kibble now would run me 7812 which that would only cover up to 9-10 rollovers before I have to feed them again and by the end of the day would run me over 23K. Not to mention now I have to slow down my training dogs which means they wonâ€™t be maxed soon and be able to trial. On top of that yes I can earn money from trialing but now you have to add the cost of entering those trials per dogâ€¦and hoping I have a dog who isnâ€™t up against monster TP dogs because mine wonâ€™t win so there goes the loss of my entry fee and no money to bring home for food. What about the other people who donâ€™t have high TP dogs for trail their poor dogs if they win donâ€™t win much as the amount you win is based on TP mostly

As of right now I am very disappointed in ala not only for this but some of the monthly shop sale thingsâ€¦but that is another story and for another place. I would have expected they at least poll us on it before they applied such drastic changes.

Please post if you feel the suggestions I have put on here are something you guys think ala should consider

Full support. I see no reason to buy more bones to buy slots if I don't even have enough cash to feed the dogs I have Dx

I support. I will continue to support the unlimited food supply though. Lately [before this change] I was getting really irritated with people bragging about hoarding all the Chicken Kibble because I needed it for maxing dogs. Some really kind users donated food to me, but it just wasn't fair to them or me because of peoples selfishness. EDIT: I guess the hoarders got off lucky now hahah! ;)

Support. I'm basically going poor! But I certainly do not want Ala to end up like FooPets, either. Horrible.

i agree very much. I always try to keep my 20+ dogs fed, but the last time I went to buy food, I didn't look at the price and when i was done i realized i spent over 4k on 1 grocery trip! why cant the raise prices 5 dollars and keep the unlimited?

Full support. We got no say in this as a community and were not expecting the high prices in food. I think this was a bad change and should be reverted back to the old ways.

Support. I think that making food items unlimited was a major mistake. Perhaps they could keep the limit but raise the number of items on sale? I usually buy Speed Unlmtd. Chow, so this is a really big problem. Also, has anyone else noticed if the Natural Kibble is still on sale? It's currently missing from Gnashers, and that was the other food I used. I agree Working. I really hope Ala doesn't price us out like other sim games.

I'm with you on the food... The only reason people hoarded the rarer items was that it was so hard to get them at roll-over. Now that it's easier to get, people won't have to hoard them and there will be less strain on the server. So the price increase doesn't seem to have much of a purpose.. Maybe if they explained it a bit more I wouldn't be so upset about it, but there was no warning about food prices increasing - just "Food is unlimited!" and then you go to buy and it's crazy expensive. I'm thankful I have the few dogs I do; I can't imagine trying to afford feeding more dogs than this O.O It's kind of making me rethink buying the bones I was planning to buy... Why get more slots for dogs if I'm only going to go broke trying to feed them? =/

You have my full support Working. As it stands, all my dogs, on both accounts, will starve, as I can't make enough money to feed them and KEEP them fed. It's sad, and it's almost like an animal abuse, where I can't afford to feed my animals, but I shouldn't have to sell them or whatnot just because I can't make the money ._. And for people that have as many dogs as you - or more - they're going to go broke, and I... have a feeling alot of people are going to quit because of whats going on.. Heck, alot of people HAVE already quit... -sigh-

support! while i love that they made the supply unlimited.. i'm not sure why they had to raise the price THAT much! Why not just give us food size options instead? like 10 uses, 20 uses, etc.. maybe this will be something they realize they made an error on sooner than later. thought it definitely does make me think twice about continuing to breed.
